Time for face off in the final game. Malmö's FIFH Sledgehammers takes on their Neighbours Oslo KHK from Norway.

-FIRST PERIOD-
At 5.07 FIFH's Tobias Lindström gets a 2 minute penalty. Oslo takes advantage of the oppurtunity and score their first goal, scored by Eskil Hagen, assisted by Rolf Einar Pedersen and Helge Björnstad. (Time 7.02)

Shots in the first period - FIFH 5, Oslo 5.

SECOND PERIOD
After only 25 second FIFH's Torbjörn Lindström (assisted by Mikael Eklund) scores and changes the stats to 1-1.

Oslo takes once again controle of the game after a brief spurt by FIFH. This results in Oslo's second goal, scored by Rolf Einar Pedersen, assisted by Eskil Hagen. (Time: 11.38)

THIRD PERIOD
3-1 to Oslo's advantage! Scored by Morten Vernes assisted by Helge Björnstad. (Time: 7.59)

And the bronze goes to...

NACKA HI from Stockholm, Sweden.
After a tight second period Nacka HI finally won with 3 goals against Tallin Panter with zero goals. The goals were scored by Marcus Holm (assisted by Jens Kask), Jesk Kask (assisted by Niklas Rukos) and once again Jens Kask unassisted.

Dawn of day 3

Good morning from us at Rosengårds Ishall!
Day three has started which can meen only one thing: time to separate the men from the boys and decide which teams will qualify for the finals. After yesterday's games it's clear that Oslo KHK and FIFH Sledgehammers right now are in the best places to meet up at the very last and most important game on Sunday. Can anyona beat them? If you want to answer I suggest that you check back later and see the results of today's matches.

GAME ON!

It's a busy day here at Rosengårds ishall. So far 6/10 of today's games have been played, and so for it's been a blast for all of us here. The current game is between Jordal Old Stars and FIFH Sledgehammer and with only a minute left it seems like the Sledgehammers will walk out as winners with 11-0.

We (Robert Linde & Martin Linde) will update this page with pictures, news and results as best we can during play time. After each day's conclusion we will make a more detailed update.

Soon time for Face Off...

Soon is it time for face off in Malmö Open 2008.

At 08.00 tomorrow morning is it time for the first game which will be played between FIFH Sledgehammers from Malmö and Nacka HI from Stockholm. This means that its going to be a "Swedish duel" directly and after that is it 9 exciting games before the first day is over.

We will update this site after all games from tomorrow until the turnament is over on Sunday!
